Weight Loss iPhone Apps

September 24th, 2009

Ever since I got my iPhone, and I have the 3G not the 3Gs, because I’m not that patient to be quite honest to wait around, well I don’t know what I did without it. I have always kept essentially speaking my entire life logged in my phone. It’s just the way it works with me, and quite frankly, well it helps me to keep things in order. But with all the apps on the iPhone, it’s a whole new level of organization all together. I mean they have workout apps for heaven sake! My favorite one right now is actually lose it!

It keeps track of my calories, my exercise, and moreover it keeps track of my weight for me. It’s all in one nice little app. And I have started it over once before. But they figure out how much I want to lose per day and expend my calories accordingly. Then there’s iFitness. I’m usually too cheap to pay if I don’t have to. But quite frankly iFitness is only $1.99. It is a “comprehensive exercise database”, and it gives you tips on strength and levels of aerobic exercise as well as perfecting technique and essentially speaking getting the most out of your workout.

Two hundred sit ups is about the same price, and it focuses on squats, push ups, and chin ups. So it’s a bit more specialized. And finally, there’s WebMD which is free, and just like the Google app, very helpful. I mean how can you really not benefit from having WebMD right at your fingertips.
