Alcohol is not really a good thing. They highly publicized red wine for its reservatrol content when they really should’ve been publicizing grapes, and quite frankly the alcohol undoes those benefits. Moreover, alcohol has actually been known for the problem of causing beer bellies, and frankly speaking, it’s because it has all those extra calories among other things, even in the lower fat versions of beer.
Likewise, it naturally kills off brain cells. So this being said, it’s not a good thing. But there are some studies that are claiming different things. There are some people who say that those who drink in moderation actually have less risk of dementia, compared to who? People who drink more alcohol than is necessary? It kills off brain cells!
This being said, they also claim that it creates greater bone density, and they even say it prevents obesity basically by limiting yourself to 5 drinks per week and protects against cancer. Personally speaking, I honestly think that these are junk studies, there’s really no way of getting around it. This being said, all of the supposed benefits go in direct opposition to all of the side effects and problems associated with alcohol. I’m not saying you can’t drink it in moderation. I’m just saying you shouldn’t expect greater benefits from it.
