How Soon Does Enzyte Work?

February 22nd, 2010

Enzyte is a popular product that they claim will give you all of the results and benefits that you want. They talk about greater erections and otherwise. But the question is, how long should you expect to wait before seeing results with Enzyte. There are of course some people who are going to be impatient with any supplement, and therefore they will never actually see “results” with anything. They expect instant results when anything takes time to work. So how long does Enzyte in particular take to work? How long do you have to wait to see real and lasting results?

With Enzyte, the likelihood is that you won’t see results. They have some good ingredients that could work within a relatively short period of time if they were to bother actually using the right amounts. Unfortunately speaking, at this time, they do not come through on that, therefore meaning that you will never actually be able to achieve male enhancement with that.

This being said, the simple fact is that Enzyte can cause various side effects. You would hope that it would eventually work. But despite all the popular commercials and otherwise, it will never actually come through. You would just be wasting time and money on a scam essentially speaking shown by the fact that the original owner was put in jail for fraud.

This being said, instead, I would recommend a product called Orexis. Orexis has a powerful blend of the right ingredients, and it seems it has the right amounts. So I for one would definitely recommend Orexis for real results.

Banital Reviews

November 19th, 2009

Product Details

Banital is an As Seen On TV weight loss product claiming to burn a ton of fat. In fact, almost all the weight you will lose will be in fat. They claim to have a revolutionary formula for all of your needs, and they also advertise a double your money back guarantee if you do not see results or are otherwise not satisfied with the results you see. It all sounds appealing, right?

The Good

Banital has some clinically proven ingredients such as gymnema sylvestre, cinnamon, ginger root for the stomach, and citrus aurantium among others. These ingredients could ideally suppress appetite, burn fat, control blood sugar, and have various other benefits, if used in the right amounts of course.

The Bad

To get that “double your money back” guarantee, you have to go through a myriad of steps including having a doctor recommend this product, which they never would. But the fact is that half their ingredients, like chamomile for example, have nothing to do with weight loss in the first place. They also fail to use the appropriate and needed amounts of the ingredients they do have.

The Skinny

We would not recommend using this product. It will not promote weight loss. It will cause possibly some caffeine related side effects. It has no real fat burning abilities or weight loss abilities in general, and it is certain that if you lose any weight at all, it will be water weight at best, easily lost, but also easily gained. In short, there are plenty of better options out there for you to choose from.

Does The HCG Diet Promote Weight Loss?

October 1st, 2009

The HCG Diet is based around a hormone that is found in higher amounts when you are pregnant.  Basically speaking, it’s legit.  It is the thing that is actually measured by home pregnancy tests to tell if you are pregnant in the first place.  But they claim that it will increase your metabolism, burn more fat, and also help you to not feel hungry when you are following their nutrient dense 500 calorie per day diet.

But does this actually work?  Well realistically speaking, if you are only eating 500 calories per day, some people could lose up to about 3 pounds per day, which is not healthy, but it could easily happen, because you are basically starving yourself.  But the average HCG patient is losing about 1 pound per day.  Does that even begin to make sense?  You are actually losing less weight than you would with just the diet alone.

The extreme measures cannot be sustained, and frankly speaking, pregnant women tend to gain more fat, feel hungrier, and have about the same metabolism.  So the idea that a pregnancy hormone would help with any of this is completely ludicrous to say the least.  And after the pregnancy, have you ever noticed how many women actually have a harder time losing weight than before?

When women suffer a condition where HCG levels are there and their body is basically tricked into thinking it’s pregnant, they grow a belly, suffer the cravings, etc just like a real pregnant woman.  But I highly doubt that they are actually injecting you with HCG even considering the lack of these effects.

Lifting Weights

September 25th, 2009

I’ll admit, I’ve never really been one for weights. I’ve seen the way my sister gets, and she bulks up really fast. I mean her arms double in size when she’s only lifting small weights in greater numbers like you’re supposed to theoretically to build lean muscle mass. And frankly speaking, my arms tone out just when I’m for example walking and I happen to use the bar for about a minute or for that matter when I’m using the elliptical.

So it scares me what my arms for the most part would do if I were to actually do more weight lifting. My calves already have their own issues. This being said, frankly speaking, weight training is an integral part of any good workout. You have to be able to tone and work your muscles and frankly having more muscles naturally of course defines your body. But it also naturally increases your body’s natural fat burning mechanisms.

This being said, it’s something to consider. Even if you use resistance training instead, you have to work on some kind of muscles rather than just working with cardio to burn more fat. But of course, never forget about cardio. It is also important.

Weight Loss iPhone Apps

September 24th, 2009

Ever since I got my iPhone, and I have the 3G not the 3Gs, because I’m not that patient to be quite honest to wait around, well I don’t know what I did without it. I have always kept essentially speaking my entire life logged in my phone. It’s just the way it works with me, and quite frankly, well it helps me to keep things in order. But with all the apps on the iPhone, it’s a whole new level of organization all together. I mean they have workout apps for heaven sake! My favorite one right now is actually lose it!

It keeps track of my calories, my exercise, and moreover it keeps track of my weight for me. It’s all in one nice little app. And I have started it over once before. But they figure out how much I want to lose per day and expend my calories accordingly. Then there’s iFitness. I’m usually too cheap to pay if I don’t have to. But quite frankly iFitness is only $1.99. It is a “comprehensive exercise database”, and it gives you tips on strength and levels of aerobic exercise as well as perfecting technique and essentially speaking getting the most out of your workout.

Two hundred sit ups is about the same price, and it focuses on squats, push ups, and chin ups. So it’s a bit more specialized. And finally, there’s WebMD which is free, and just like the Google app, very helpful. I mean how can you really not benefit from having WebMD right at your fingertips.

Double Chin

September 23rd, 2009

Now there are some groupings and some individual people I’ve noticed that always seem to have round faces. I am the exception to my grouping, because they always have round faces as they gain weight, and for some reason I always have a square face. I would actually love to have a heart shaped face like Catherine Zeta Jones or for example Reese Witherspoon.

It’s not the skinny face that tends to come with a pointy witch type chin, and frankly those are extremely rare among my grouping. But it’s not the completely round or square shape that you can’t lose even if you lose more weight. It gives the right proportionate look that’s somewhere in the middle and I love it. But this being said, most in my grouping have round faces, which only get worse should they gain weight.

This being said, they also tend to have double chins. They could actually be fairly average and in good size like size 6, and yet they have a fat collection in that one area. Having a square face has its advantages, and that’s one of them, I don’t have that particular feature. But honestly speaking, that’s really one of those areas interestingly enough you can’t really exercise, and you just have to lose more fat and hope it goes away with more fat loss in general. Unfortunately, for my sister, she’s had severely low body fat levels and never lost her double chin. It just makes things interesting.

Red Wine & Weight Loss

September 22nd, 2009

Alcohol is not really a good thing. They highly publicized red wine for its reservatrol content when they really should’ve been publicizing grapes, and quite frankly the alcohol undoes those benefits. Moreover, alcohol has actually been known for the problem of causing beer bellies, and frankly speaking, it’s because it has all those extra calories among other things, even in the lower fat versions of beer.

Likewise, it naturally kills off brain cells. So this being said, it’s not a good thing. But there are some studies that are claiming different things. There are some people who say that those who drink in moderation actually have less risk of dementia, compared to who? People who drink more alcohol than is necessary? It kills off brain cells!

This being said, they also claim that it creates greater bone density, and they even say it prevents obesity basically by limiting yourself to 5 drinks per week and protects against cancer. Personally speaking, I honestly think that these are junk studies, there’s really no way of getting around it. This being said, all of the supposed benefits go in direct opposition to all of the side effects and problems associated with alcohol. I’m not saying you can’t drink it in moderation. I’m just saying you shouldn’t expect greater benefits from it.

Planning Diets

September 21st, 2009

My problem with dieting sometimes is that I am an extremely impulsive individual. I don’t plan well, until I am actually there. This being said, basically speaking there are times when I’m really good with dieting, and frankly when I’m doing something, I know exactly what I’m doing. But I don’t always come prepared, because I don’t plan for it. For example, I may decide one day that I want to go cliff diving. It comes down to the fact that I didn’t come prepared with a towel, swimming suit, or anything else, and so I have to improvise.

If it were a safety issue, there’s no improvising for that. But otherwise, you totally can. However, when it comes to dieting, this doesn’t work out for anyone really. Dieting takes planning, it takes action. You can’t be out at the beach and then decide you want to go cliff diving and then just go home, it’s not like that. You have to plan out your meals so that you don’t run into the time of day where you just go to some fast food restaurant. You have to plan the time at which you are going to exercise. You can’t just count on everything to fall into place. This is why for me, I’ve never had a successful weight loss plan of say 30 or 40 pounds. I get small results, because I don’t plan.

Diabetes & Gastric Bypass

September 19th, 2009

Now diabetes is a complicated disorder.  It’s set off by various things, and whether raising your blood sugar or lowering it, you always have to keep constant track so it’s always on the right track.  Having low blood sugar can be just as bad as having high blood sugar.  But while some abuse their diabetes and really don’t adhere to the must stricter rules associated with it, there are some measures that I would think would be prohibited in any case.

For example, there are certain diet pills I could definitely see being eliminated or restricted at the very least.  And actually gastric bypass is a big one, being that they have to be able to properly absorb and get certain nutrients, meaning they would logically have to eat more with the way gastric bypass surgery actually interferes with that.  But at the same point in time, you cannot eat more when you have diabetes, and if your blood sugar suddenly drops or really isn’t fulfilled when you have eaten as much as it will allow you to eat, well that creates a sudden problem to say the least.  I have to wonder really, I mean it’s great to lose weight, and gastric bypass works for many individuals.  But is it a higher risk and higher problem with diabetes, or does it somehow manage to work out.

Obesity During Pregnancy

September 17th, 2009

Women are naturally heavier now, and while I have known one woman who actually lost weight while pregnant, it was in part because she was a bigger lady who had a significant amount of weight to lose.  This being said, apparently 2/3 of women are overweight at this point in time.  This means that pregnant women are also heavier than ever, and frankly there are already enough risks with pregnancy in general.  But the excess weight is linked to heart disease, diabetes, and high blood pressure, which are often also more likely during pregnancy.

Studies are actually showing now that it’s riskier than ever.  Even those women who gain just 15 to 25 pounds of excess weight have a higher risk of Cesarean sections and obese babies in general terms than those who had gained less than 15 pounds in the whole process.  It also has been shown that obese mothers are more likely to have to stay in the maternity ward due to cesareans and other complications, and they require greater testing during pregnancy.  Likewise, blood clots are more likely to form, and otherwise you are more likely to have basic complications in general.  Obese patients at this point are advised to actually avoid gaining any weight during pregnancy while the normal woman would naturally gain about 20-25 pounds.
